$4,000.00 to support FIRST Robotics Team 1506 Metal Muscle -
Michigan Robotics Foundation has received a grant of $4,000.00 from the Community Foundation for Greater Flint to support FIRST Robotics Team 1506 Metal Muscle. FIRST Robotics Team 1506 Metal Muscle is a community team based in Flint, MI that operates out of the Kettering University FIRST Robotics Center. The team is open to any High School aged students that are willing to travel to Kettering University. The team had great success last year and with this grant it will help our program to continue offering our program at greatly reduced costs to the student’s stated Lead Mentor Donald Ridge. The season starts in early January, so this grant is timely in making sure we have the funds to properly design and build a competitive robot.
